We agree, Alex.

(Cross-posted from In the Stacks.)

"If we can make the library a cool place to hang out for the summer, I think we're doing something right."

So says Alex Carpenter of The Remus Lupins in this Washington Post article about "wizard rock" bands including Harry and the Potters, The Whomping Willows, and Draco and the Malfoys, all of whom are touring libraries and bookstores this summer in anticipation of the final Harry Potter book.

Don't forget that The Whomping Willows and The Remus Lupins will be playing at the Asheboro Public Library on Sunday, August 12 at 2:00 pm. Come for the concert, and stay (because the library is a pretty cool place) for a discussion of all your Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows questions, thoughts, and ideas.
